The Ministry is responsible for the tourism sector on a holistic level, for the maintenance and upkeep of tourist places, for education in this sector, for the film industry and also for the cleaning of our country. These sectors are all important in order to strengthen the tourism product of our country. The Ministry is responsible for various projects, mainly regeneration projects of tourist areas. Apart from that, through continuous work with the entities, the Ministry aspires to continue strengthening this sector which is so crucial for the Maltese economy.
